Workshops end. Grants get spent. Beyond the workshop model

Workshops inspire for a day. Growth needs follow-through.

The traditional model for supporting local businesses is workshops and training days - valuable in the moment, but research summarized in Harvard Business Review suggests most new learning is forgotten within about a week without reinforcement - and most businesses struggle to follow through once the session ends.

Amplifyo was built by a team who have worked alongside EDOs and saw that need first-hand - first as action tools, and now as an engine that supports true ongoing growth. It equips business owners, operators, junior marketers, admin teams and whoever else is appointed to do the marketing. It is complementary to your existing programs and advisory teams - the future of effective service delivery - and helps you deliver greater impact without changing your headcount.

The execution gap

Your strategy support is excellent. Their execution is where growth stalls.

You provide high-value strategy, training and growth support - but most local businesses lack the internal resources to implement it, and stalled businesses mean a shrinking tax base and lost jobs.

What holds your program back today

  • Scalability: high-touch support can't stretch across thousands of micro-businesses without more headcount or overhead.
  • Retention & resiliency: business failures erode the local tax base - and preventing them takes ongoing support, not one-off workshops.
  • Data silos: aggregating and measuring total economic impact for council and funder reporting is slow, manual work.
  • Reaching underserved markets: rural, minority and low-income business owners are the hardest to reach with traditional programming.

What partnering with Amplifyo changes

  • Programmatic scale: every business gets its own AI marketing manager - support that runs daily and weekly, not just on workshop days.
  • Measurable impact: the optional Admin Hub aggregates anonymized program activity so you can show growth and impact to stakeholders.
  • You stay AI-competitive: we handle the responsible-AI infrastructure, RAG architecture and secure integrations - your program is positioned as the technological driver keeping local SMBs globally competitive.
  • Activate your advisors: business counselors, program staff and mentors get platform seats and AI-enabled workflows - the latest AI capability in their hands, with less admin in their day.
  • Brand your program: co-branding or full white-labelling lets you launch it as your own regional growth initiative.
Built for your funding model

Government-tied, grant-funded or member-funded - there's a compliant way to partner.

We know economic development isn't one organisation type. Each partnership model below is structured around the procurement and compliance rules your organisation actually operates under.

Cities, counties & regional EDOs

Wholesale enterprise licensing

Procurement-friendly · No revenue share required

City and county economic development offices and regional EDOs are government-tied or public-private entities that can't accept affiliate fees or revenue shares - so we don't ask you to. Purchase bulk wholesale licenses to distribute to local businesses as a subsidized growth tool, or a flat SaaS fee for internal use - priced to fit an existing program budget line.

  • Suits business retention & expansion (BRE) budgets
  • Transparent, flat per-business pricing for procurement
Chambers of Commerce - revenue-eligible

Member benefit + non-dues revenue

Hybrid: wholesale, white-label markup, or affiliate share

Chambers are the exception in this group: as 501(c)(6) organisations you can earn - and most chambers actively want - recurring non-dues revenue. Answer the "what do I get for my dues?" question with a tangible growth tool, then mark up a wholesale or white-label tier to members, or take an affiliate share on every active subscriber you refer.

  • An exclusive member offer that fights churn
  • Recurring non-dues revenue with zero delivery burden
SBDCs

Grant-subsidized cohort access

Structured for SBA Uniform Guidance

SBDCs can't profit from or act as affiliates for commercial software - so the model is a wholesale discount or grant-subsidized program: the center pays a flat bulk fee to give free or low-cost platform access to its client cohort.

  • Supports milestone tracking your advisors already do
  • Ongoing support for post-launch and early-stage clients
SCORE chapters

Non-profit discount or sponsor-funded blocks

No commissions, ever - by design

SCORE chapters are barred from revenue splits and referral commissions, so we offer a steep wholesale non-profit discount - or a corporate sponsor can fund a block of licenses for the entrepreneurs your mentors serve.

  • Keeps momentum going between mentor sessions
  • Simple enough for mentors and mentees alike

Partner pricing tiers

Wholesale pricing that fits inside a program budget.

Flat per-business pricing built for procurement, grants and sponsorship - sized to fit inside an existing program budget and clear a single sign-off quickly, not a board-level procurement battle. Every license covers up to 3 seats per business. Amplifyo’s founding team is corporate-governance trained, and the platform is built to best practice in data, privacy and responsible AI - aligned with USA and Australian standards.

Early-partner pricing. Current rates are locked in for 12 months from signing, with feature upgrades included. As the partner program matures, rates for new partners are expected to rise in 2027 - partnering now secures today’s pricing for your first year.

TierBusinesses enrolled Wholesale costPer business, per month - up to 3 seats Discount vs. list Optional advisor seat

The wholesale licensing above is in addition to your branding setup: every partnership starts with either full white-labelling ($15,000 setup, then $2,000/year) or co-branding within the application ($5,000 setup, then $500/year) - both detailed below.

Full white-labelling Your own branded platform, on your own domain. $15,000 setup, then $2,000 / year
Train-the-trainer onboarding Plus a branded video library so your staff and volunteers can guide businesses confidently. $1,000 setup

Workshops & micro-learning Optional partner workshops, micro-learning sessions and resources delivered by the Amplifyo team - in one 40-minute partner-hosted workshop, 40% of attendees became paying customers. Ask our team
Program-level support Extra partner support in 10-hour blocks; monthly summary reporting included on all tiers. $2,000 per 10-hour block

All partner tiers include monthly client summary reporting, a 12-month price guarantee with feature upgrades at no extra charge, in-app support for your clients plus direct access to the Amplifyo support team, and bonus workshop tickets for your program incentives. Partner accounts can be set up in as little as 3 weeks. Prices exclude applicable taxes (based on your region).

What a program looks like

Grounded in real business outcomes. Shaped to your region.

The outcomes below come from real Amplifyo customers - the same kinds of local businesses your organisation serves every day.

Illustrative program

A regional "growth cohort" launch

An EDO enrolls a cohort of local businesses on subsidized licenses under a co-branded program. Each business builds its own goal-aligned marketing plan in its first session; the EDO's team tracks anonymized program activity through the Admin Hub for quarterly council reporting.

  • Cohort onboards itself - no extra program staff
  • Support continues after the launch event ends
  • Aggregated impact data for funders, on demand
Real customer outcomes

What local businesses achieve on Amplifyo

A local construction company built its community brand and improved Google rankings. A manufacturer grew leads without hiring. A family-owned retailer kept promotions moving through a 12-month staff transition. A B2B engineering firm aligned its whole team behind one growth roadmap.

  • "It probably saved me at least a few hours" - construction customer
  • More output and leads with no added headcount

FAQ

Questions economic development teams ask us.

We can't accept revenue shares or affiliate fees. Can we still partner?
Yes - that's exactly why the EDO, SBDC and SCORE models are structured as wholesale or subsidized licensing with flat, transparent pricing. There are no commissions, kickbacks or revenue splits in those models. Chambers, which typically can pursue non-dues revenue as 501(c)(6) organisations, have the option of a markup or affiliate model instead.
How does this fit our procurement process?
Pricing is flat, published and per-business, with a 12-month price guarantee - designed to slot into standard vendor procurement, BRE program budgets, or grant line items. We can provide the documentation your procurement officer needs, including security and data-handling detail.
What can we report to our council, board or funders?
With business opt-in, the Admin Hub provides anonymized, aggregated program activity - adoption, activity levels, and where the program is supporting growth. Monthly client summary reporting is included in every partner tier, giving you evidence for quarterly and annual reporting without manual data collection.
Will rural and less tech-confident business owners actually use it?
Amplifyo was built for owners with no marketing experience: guided quick-start pathways, plain-language recommendations, and onboarding measured in minutes. Train-the-trainer onboarding and a branded video library help your staff, mentors and volunteers support businesses at any comfort level.
Who supports the businesses day to day?
Amplifyo does - standard in-app support is included for every business. Your advisors can optionally take seats in the platform to add value to individual businesses, and Amplifyo's marketing specialists are available where deeper strategy support is needed.
Is business data safe?
Each business operates in its own private, multi-tenant environment on a secure, model-agnostic Agentic RAG system (AWS Bedrock). Private business data is never used to train global AI models, and we maintain enterprise-grade privacy and responsible-AI practices - important for publicly accountable programs.
Can you work with purchase orders and our vendor onboarding process?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and annual invoicing with standard government payment terms, provide insurance certificates during vendor onboarding, and can supply a sole-source justification letter and budget documentation on request. A SAM.gov Unique Entity ID (UEI) to support vendor verification can also be provided. US-based data hosting is available for programs that require it. See the procurement & vendor information section above for the full list.
